WinterBoard Fixes Bug That Caused Crashes
If you love customizing your jailbroken iOS device with Winterboard themes then you should grab the update (0.9.3911) that was released last night.
| iDevicei |
It includes a fix for an issue that caused crashes when many apps were running in the background while using WinterBoard.
Apple user have been reporting that, recently, while using WinterBoard, it is hard to keep many iOS applications running in the background: after you run more than a few, they are killed. This issue did not correlate with new versions of WinterBoard (downgrading did not help), but it did clear itself up if you uninstalled WinterBoard. It did not require any themes to be active.I have managed to track this down to leaking a key resource, something called a “vnode”, of which Apple, by default, only allocates 1250; this bug is a complex multi-component overlap. In this case, when using iOS 6.1 (maybe also 6.0, but maybe not), with a 0.9.400x version of Substrate, and virtually any version of WinterBoard, you will probably encounter this issue. After spending a couple days looking into this reported issue with some custom vnode debugging tools I wrote (which required getting some help from planetbeing, due to kASLR), I have determined WinterBoard is the correct place to fix this issue, and have done so there in 0.9.3911.

Download TinyUmbrella Updat For iOS 6.1.2
TinyUmbrella allows you to take backups of SHSH blobs.Use the SHSH blobs to downgrade to older iOS versions.
TinyUmbrella has been updated to work with iOS 6.1.2 on relevant devices. Make sure you don’t update to 6.1.3 when it drops. I wasn’t able to get 6.1.3 beta included (I just got too busy). But if you desire to keep your jailbreak, avoid 6.1.3.

If you have used Jailbroken iPad, you must have been aware from the FullForce, it is the amazing utility which helps the iPad users to run the iPhone applications in the full screen. The developer of this tweak, Ryan Petrich has released the FullForce for iPhone. This is just like the iPad application which helps you to run older apps on iPhone 5 with full screen support. It is better as compared to the Screen Extender, because every time you open up an app, a notification will pop-up asking you weather to run the application in full screen or not. So, if you have some issues with Screen Extender, you can try out the Full force but it will cost you $0.99 only.
