New iOS 7 Jailbreak Tweak lets you close all apps in app switcher
![]() |
iOS 7 smarter multitasking, the type of apps that can run in the background has significantly increased, so you might be able to see a clear difference in battery life if you keep closing apps, especially ones that have permission to run in the background.
Unfortunately, iOS 7 doesn’t offer you a way to quickly kill apps running in the background, so one has to go through the tedious task of swiping on the apps to remove them either one by one or three at a time.
A new iOS 7 jailbreak tweak called Purge makes this task a lot easier. The tweak gives you an option to close all apps when you tap and long hold on any app card in the app switcher.
