Reeder For iPhone 3.1 Update Brings Feedbin And Local RSS Support
Feedbin is a simple RSS feed reader that is available for $2 per month. It has received quite a bit of attention after Google’s announcement.
The Reeder update also brings local/standalone RSS support to the iPhone app, however note that it doesn’t support syncing yet.

eveloper Silvio Rizzi has also mentioned that he plans to add support for other services in the future. Reeder supports Fever, another alternative for Google Reader. It also supports Quote.fm, Readability, Instapaper, Pocket, Evernote, Pinboard, Zootool, Delicious, App.net, Twitter, Facebook, Buffer and Mail.
The update also finally brings pull to refresh functionality to the iPhone app.
If you’re a Reeder fan then the good news is that the developer has confirmed that he will continue with the development of the app after July 1st.
He also plans to add the features of the iPhone app, including all sharing and syncing services to the iPad app. Until then, Reeder for iPad and Mac is available forfree in the App Store.
