How To: Download And Install WinterBoard Themes On iPhone, iPad And iPod Touch

Installing WinterBoard is incredibly simple if you 

                                                                 

                                             

 have a jailbroken iPhone,ipod Touch or iPad. Even if you do not have a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch it will not be hard to jailbreak it. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions shown below to learn how to install and download WinterBoard themes from Cydia to iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Step 1) - The first thing you will need to do is jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Visit our parent site iJailbreak.com to learn how to do this.

Step 2) - Next you will need to tap the Cydia icon on your homescreen.

Step 3) - With Cydia up and running go into the Search tab located on the bottom tab bar and search for WinterBoard.

tep 4) - Tap on WinterBoard when it comes up on the search results.

ep 5) - You will now be on WinterBoard’s depiction page. Tap the Install button in the top right hand corner of the screen, followed by the confirm button on the next page.

Step 6) - After the installation process of WinterBoard is complete tap Reboot Device and wait for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to reboot.

Step 7) - Slide-To-Unlock your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch once it has rebooted and you should now see a WinterBoard icon on your homescreen.

How Do I Install A Theme?

                                                          

Now that you have your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad jailbroken with WinterBoard install  you would probably like to learn how to install an actual theme. Luckily for you the process is fairly similar to actually installing WinterBoard, and will not be difficult. Like before simply follow the the step-by-step instructions shown below.

Step 1) - Launch Cydia from your jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad homescreen.

Step 2) - Now you will need to find a theme that you want to install to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Browse through our website to find the theme you want to install and then search for its name in the Search tab.

Step 3) - After you find a theme that you would like to install and you have searched for it, tap on the corresponding theme. Now looking through the theme’s depiction page to make sure it was the theme you were looking for. If it is tap on the Install button followed by the Confirm button.

tep 4) - Once the theme finishes installing you will need to press the Return to Cydia button and then tap the home button to return  to your homescreen.

Step 6) - With WinterBoard up and running go into the Select Themes tab and tap on the theme you just installed through Cydia.

Step 5) - From your homescreen launch the WinterBoard app.

With the theme selected tap on the WinterBoard button in the top right corner of the screen and then tap the new Respring button in the top left corner of the screen.

Your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad will now respiring and once becomes functional you should notice your theme is activated. Disabling your theme is as simple as deselecting the theme from WinterBoard and then respringing once more.

Note: Some WinterBoard themes will require additional steps to setup once downloaded from Cydia. Please refer to the instructions for that particular theme on the theme’s Cydia depiction page. Additionally, keep in mind that if a particular icon or UI element is not themed it means the developer has left it out or miss named the image file. If the latter is the case it means you will need to manually  fix it using a cydia app called iFile.
